WIPs


Another sketch....

I just understood a sketch loses it's attraction if you over-work into it, so I'm done with this thing, here is the old wip.





It felt like last century that I did something with straight edges....



So here is a self-propelled laser mortar.
It fires a variable spectrum free-electron laser from a 20" disk into a 1/2" focus.
The beam itself is nearly invisible but the disk flashes as a signal of firing (can be turned off). The ionized air on laser path will glow slightly, and the beam is slightly visible in smokes or turbulences. Two glowing rings in front are not muzzle flashes, they are condensation vapors (a.k.a clouds) caused by multiple pressure wavefronts.

Almost all of the vehicle are filled with coolants and capacitors and a minimized Klystron tube. The rear end of this vehicle is much heavier than the front because of the anti-radiation enclosure.
